Newtown High School - John Beddoes Campus

Newtown High School is an 11-18 comprehensive school set in Newtown and Presteigne. It has around 1050 students and includes a Sixth Form. Our catchment area spans 253 mi2, which is just slightly behind the size of Singapore! The predominant language is English. The original buildings were constructed in 1957 and 1565 respectively and have grown to their current size, with the last extensions being constructed in the 1970s. Newtown High School has recently been awarded the Eco-Schools Platinum Status after being given our 4th green flag.
